1. You had better eat your breakfast or you will be hungry before lunch-time. Тебе бы лучше позавтракать или ты будешь голодным до обеда.

2. If we don’t run, we shall miss the bus, so we had better hurry up . Если мы не побежим, то опоздаем на автобус, нам бы лучше поторопиться.(поспешить)

3. I would rather go to Germany by plain than by bus. The buses are so slow. Я бы предпочел ехать в Германию на самолете, а не на автобусе. Автобусы такие медленные.

4. The English would rather have tea than coffee. Англичане предпочитают пить чай, а не кофе.
