Valentina Vladimirovna Tereshkova (March 6, 1937(19370306), the village of Great Maslennikovo, Tutaev district, Yaroslavl oblast, RSFSR, USSR) — Soviet cosmonaut, first woman cosmonaut, hero of the Soviet Union, major-General.
