In Rome's Castel Sant'angelo has started a special summer program of night tours. Tourists will be able to see the attraction, but also to attend concerts.
Night tours will be held from 2 July to 8 September in English, Italian, French and Spanish. Tourists can visit those parts of the citadel that are not available to visitors at the usual time. So, they will walk along the Passetto - the corridor 800 meters long connecting Sant'angelo to the Vatican palaces, you will see the dungeon in which since the Renaissance until the nineteenth century contained in the conclusion of such personalities as Pope Paul III, Italian humanist, Pomponio Summer, the sculptor Benvenuto Cellini, a mystic and adventurer Giuseppe Balsamo, better known as count Cagliostro, and many others.
Tours are conducted Tuesday-Sunday from 20:30 until 1:00. Ticket price for adults 10€, children under 10 years of age can access them for free. From July 15 on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in the courtyard Cortile della Balestra will be held concerts of classical, lyrical and jazz music, to visit which can be free, reports RIA "Novosti".
