Bobruisk – one of the oldest cities of Belarus. The first mention of Bobruisk belongs to 1387. It was the contractual diploma of the grand duke Lithuanian and Russian Yagaylo and his brother Skirgaylo.
Culture.
In Bobruisk more than five hundred cultural events in a year are held. From the most known it is possible to celebrate festivals of folk art "A friendship wreath" (international) and choreography "At dance sources" (regional), and also the international open-air on "Art-Zhyzhal" ceramics.
