Chameleons can be of different colors, and have the ability to change colors. They have very long, highly modified, rapidly extrudable tongues and long feet. Some of them have aprehensile tail. Their eyes are independently mobile. Chameleons are adapted for climbing and visual hunting. They live in warm habitats that range from rain forest to desert conditions for example, in Africa, Madagascar, southern Europe, and across southern Asia as far as Sri Lanka.
