Abakan is one of the greenest and the most beautiful towns.Gardens, parks and boulevards occupy a large part of Abakan. Abakan is the capital of the republic of Khakassia. There are a lot of parks there. I want to name but a few, they are: Park Preobrazhenskiy, Pushkin Park, Komsomolskiy Park, Dream Gardens Park. There are some other parks, too, but they are not my favourite.
Dream Gardens Park is the nicest park in Abakan.Here you can see a small copy of the Eiffel Tower, have a rest in a comfortable arbor, try the pancakes in the local café, teeter and feed birds. In the evening the park shines with the lights of ornamental trees.In summer it's really nice with animals everywhere, in winter they've got an ice sculptures and even a place to glide from. It is worth visiting.
Park Preobrazhenskiy is a small public park in northern residential district of Abakan.The park was recently built and is one of the most favorite recreation area in Kalinino residential blocks. The park is located to the north of the city center.There is an artificial pond with a waterfall in this park and small green alleys on the background of the Dome of the Preobrazhensky Cathedral. In the centre of the Park one can see the sculpture of Murom saints Peter and Fevronia – the symbol of Family, Love and Faith. On the eighth of July - the day of their memory a lot of newly married couples come to this monument to swear to love.
