I learned about works of Marc Chagall recently.
Marc Chagall - is an artist, who lives outside the rules. Even Louvre couldn't resist of his works and in spite of traditions, they organized an exhibition of the artist, who is still alive. Indeed, Marc Chagall is unique artist. He painted a lot of brilliant pictures. Just remember his famous painting "Flying".
But the most of all, I love his " Self-portait". His self-portait is quit original. It was made in a manner similar to Picasso, but still has a lot in it purely in style of Chagall.
For example, images of figures and facial features. This is purely his manner to draw.
He potrayed himself but didn't forget to remind us who he is. Here he hold palette and brush in his hands. And the background, the combination from the past and present. Here, in this picture, there are love, motherhood and own home. All his life and soul here, in tnis self-portrait.
