And you put it in the letterbox.

He puts all the letters in a sorting machine.
Then the postman puts the letters into mailbags
And the mailbags take a trip, a trip by train.
And when they reach their destination*,
The postman takes them from the station.
They sort them for delivery,
And they bring them to you and me.
