My winter holidays.
There are a lot of things in our school life, good or bad, which we shall remember all our lives. Our school holidays are among them. Every pupil has four holidays. Some pupils enjoy summer holidays best, some others prefer winter holidays, and other children like those which they spent very well.

1. Winter holidays are shorter than summer ones. 2. They begin in the end of December and last about two weeks. 3. It is so nice to have a rest from school. 4. During winter holidays we celebrate New Year Eve and Christmas. 5. There are New Year parties for children at schools and theatres. 6. Cinemas show children films and cartoons. 7. It is usually very cold in winter, but frost and snow can't keep children indoors. 8. It's so great to go skiing down a hill. 9. Boys like to play hockey on the ice. 10. Many children go to the skating-rings to skate. 11. Small children play snowballs and make snowmen, or ride happily on the sledges. 12. When the weather is bad I stay at home and watch TV. 13. There is always something interesting on during winter holidays. 14. Sometimes my friends come to see me and we play computer games or listen to music. 15. There is also more time for reading, drawing, making model planes and other hobbies. 16. Holidays pass quickly and soon it's time to go to school again.
