Tsar Nicholas the second. Nicholas Romanov was born on 18 in May 1868 in Tzarskoye Selo. He was the eldest son of Emperor Alexander the third. Nicholas receivd a good education at home. He new several langugesm studied russian and word histore, studied millitary science. He was clever man. In april 1894 the future emperor affiance with princess Alice. She was a grandaughter of Queen Victoria.The coronation of Nicholas the second held on 26 in may 1896. The reigh of him took place in an atmosphere of growing revolutionary movements and difficult policy siteation. When in 1914 the first world war began Nicholas was the Commander in Chief. On the night of 17 in july 1918 Nicholas with his family was shot.
