Independence day or 4th of July is American holiday. The purpose of this day is to celebrate the day, when the United States became independent from England.
Before the holiday people buy a lot of typical American food like hot dogs, hamburgers, soda, etc. Also they buy clothes with American flag on it. On the actual day, people are gathering at the parks or someone's houses to party and see the fireworks, which are massive at this particular holiday. It all happens with music; some of the people also sign American anthem.
After the celebration is over, people usually decide to continue partying until 3 or 4 am. However, this particular day is very important for every American person. They feel proud of their country.
