INGREDIENTS: - cleansing pears 1 kg. 300 gr .; - Honey: 1/3 cup; - Sugar: 1/3 cup; - 1/2 teaspoon of any of these spices individually or in combination: ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, pepper cubeb, Kalgan, etc. - Cardamom, 1 teaspoon; - Ground cloves, 1/4 teaspoon; - Seeds of anise liquor, mix 1 teaspoon with 1/4 teaspoon sugar; - Saffron (or a few drops of yellow food coloring); - Sandalwood powder (or a few drops of red food coloring); - Red wine: 1/2 cup; - Vinegar (vinegar medieval verjuice): 1 tablespoon; - Cinnamon. PREPARATION: 1. Honey, sugar, wine, grated spices except cinnamon, vinegar, saffron, sandalwood boil. 2.
