I
(am) very sorry to hear about your mother’s illness, and (am) glad that
you (are going) to Scotland to see how she is, 10 It (will be) nice for her to see
you. 11 Of course I (will look) after Tim. 12 We thoroughly (enjoyed) having
him last year and my dog (was missing) him when he (had left) and (was looking) for him
everywhere. 13 I’m sure he (will be) delighted to see him again. 14 Will you
(bring) him on Tuesday afternoon? Or, if that (does not suit), any Wednesday.
15 (Do not bother) to bring dog food; I (have) enough 16 I hope you (will have) time
to have tea with me when you bring Tim, and that by then you (will have had) better
news of your mother.
