A letter to Santa Claus
Hello, Dear Santa!
I wish you to have a Merry Christmas! Be healthy and happy! I am sure that you are the best because you help to believe in wonders and bring the spirit of joy and happiness to many children around the world.
When I grow up I want to act just like you!
I think I have been a very good boy this year. Every day I help my mother about the house. I clean my room and often wash the dishes. I have tried my best not to quarrel with my little sister. I have not teased and called her names. I have played with her and even gaveher my favourite toy. It’s a nice teddy bear. But, Dear Santa, won’t you be so kind and give a nice doll to my sister. She will be happy to have a Barbie doll.
As for me, there is one thing I wish for Christmas. I want you to bring me a pretty little puppy, which I want to live in my house. I hope you have it. But my mommy is against the puppy, she says, that dogs must live out of doors, but not in the house.
Dear Santa, can you help me and say my mom that I am eager to have a puppy. I will always feed it and besides I will never forget to walk with it in the evenings!
Looking forward to my present.
My best wishes to Mrs. Claus, all the elves and reindeer!
Your friend, Valentin.
P.S. I will leave you yogurt and cookies again this year, because it seems to me you really liked my mommy’s cookies.
