(A1) I 2 am writing to you in your position as secretary of Greydon
Mansions Residents Association in connection with the problem of
residents leaving bicycles in the common entrance hallway. My wife and I
(A2) 3 have been having a lot of trouble lately with Steve and Tom Stone, the
tenants of flat 16 and we wish this problem (A3) 1 were finally solved. These
tenants (A4)
4 own two bicycles which they (A5) 1 are constantly leaving in
the entrance corridor. Not long ago the local fire officer (A6) 3 pointed out to me that if the corridor (A7) 4 had been blocked with bicycles
we (A8) 3 might be trapped in our flats in a serious fire. I myself (A9) have told the boys several times that there (A10) 1 is space for
them to store bicycles in the back yard but they still seem unwilling to
move their bikes there and their stubbornness (A11) 2 is beginning to seem
deliberate. We would rather not have to refer this matter to our
solicitors but we (A12) 3 feel that if the residents association (A13)
1 is unable to resolve the matter, we (A14) 2 will have no
alternative.
