Это не письмо-жалоба,а письмо-извещение т.к человек не может выйти на роботу и объясняет почему.
Dear Mr.Rickard,
I appologize for emailing you so late.I want to inform you that unfortunately,I will not be able to come on time this Friday.
The reason for my lateness is contingency. I have just found out that my grandmother has died today.She used to be very important for my family and this is definitely going to be a tough time for all of us. To be honest I do not feel that I can really concentrate on work at the moment.May I please ask you to allow me not to come this Friday as I have to organize funeral service and I need to support relatives,especially my grandfather.
I do understand that it is not a good beginning of my new job on such a responsible position,but I can assure you that I am a very responsible and punctual worker. If it is possible I would rather stay longer one day next week complete the work which I will miss on Friday?
