The Past Simple Tense Many years ago there _ (live) a girl called Nara. She __ (can) sing very well and play the psaltery .She __ (love) a young man and __ (want) to marry him. One day she was sitting near a large beautiful lake when a rich man __ (see) her. He ___ (like) Nara so much that he__ (want) to marry her.
