Nowadays opinion is divided about a best friend. Some people say that person can be true friend. But others say that true friends can be two, three and even more.
I think that a person should have only one friend. One true friend is a person who always by your side, whom you can trust in everything, no matter what happens. He always ready to help you, to support you. A true best friend respects your decisions and is sympathetic to you.
To sum up, I want to say that there is nothing strange in having close relations with two, three or more people.
