They (have contacted) Tanaka Electronics, a Japanese company which (deals in) in this equipment.
Today Mr Cone who (works) in the Moscow office of the company (is having talks) with the Export Manager of Rossimport Mr Petrov.
Petrov: Mr Cone, we (have studied) your latest catalogues. The
air-conditioning system which you (launched) to the market in December
(meets) our requirements. We’d like to place an order with your
company.
Cone: How many systems do you (want) to buy?
Petrov: 10 systems. If they (operate) well in our climate and we
(have) no problems with them we (shall place) more orders later.
Cone: Fine. When do you (need) the equipment?
Petrov: The sooner — the better. The summer season on the coast of the Black Sea (starts) in April.
Cone: We can’t promise you immediate delivery now. But I (will contact)
our people in Osaka today and (talk it over) with them. I hope we (shall have
completed) the delivery by the end of March.
