Birthday is one of the most remarkable days for me. All people like to celebrate their birthday because there is a wonderful opportunity to spend time with your parents, relatives, and friends. I like when my friends and relatives come together.
I was born in a sunny winter day, on the 5th of December. Maybe because of this, I adore winter and its snowy weather.
On my birthday in the morning my parents and sister come to my room, sing "Happy Birthday!" for me and give presents. Usually we celebrate my birthday in the evening. We clean our house the day before my birthday party.
In the morning of the birthday my father goes to do shopping and buys all the products we need. My sister and I decorate our house with garlands and balloons.
My mother stays at home. She bakes a very tasty pie or cake. By the evening the table is laid, the food is cooked. We put on evening dresses and wait for guests. The flat looks cosy and nice.
I’m always very pleased to meet my guests and friends. I like to get presents and flowers from them. My mother always gives the telegram from my uncle and aunt who live abroad.
We have a hearty dinner on this day. My mom brings the birthday cake. Then I puff the candles out. Guests sing songs and dance, play games and joke, laugh or tell funny stories. As to me, my birthday is one of the wonderful days over the year.
