Aktobe regional historical Museum conducts its research activities since 1929. It was opened on the basis of the school Museum on the initiative of local historians. Since 1965, the Museum has gained a renovated building of the former hotel. The exposition of the Museum presents more than 90 thousand exhibits. The Museum contains unique valuable collections of archaeology, paleontology, numismatics, Mineralogy, arts and crafts, botany. The Museum has 3 halls: hall of nature, hall Doyle gave presenter and a hall "Space". The pride of the Museum are unique finds of jewelry with the distinctive features of the region are found in the mounds Besoba, Syntas, Yerevan.
