Adelheid she's Heidi, an orphan girl that takes care of Swiss Maienfeld her aunt Dete. Auntie finds a job in Frankfurt and drove the 8-year-old Heidi to the grandfather. That is not at odds with the inhabitants of his native village, and therefore lives a solitary man on a distant pasture, — it was called "the Alps-Oh".
First, the grandfather dissatisfied with the arrival of Heidi, but eventually the girl manages to overcome his external aloofness and live in perfect harmony with him and his best friend — a goat herder or as it was called grandpa Heidi "Lord of the goats Peter."
Date, three years later returns and carries Heidi in Frankfurt by 11-year-old girl in a wheelchair named Clara Sesemann. A year Heidi lives with Clara, clashing repeatedly with the strict housekeeper of the family Sesemann Frau Rottenmeier, a girl longing. Consolation she is learning to read and write, motivated by the desire to go home and read to a blind grandmother of Peter. Failing health and several instances of sleepwalking convinces the doctor to Clara to send Heidi back to her grandfather.
Returning granddaughter prompts the grandfather to descend to the village — is the end of his solitude.
Heidi and Clara write to each other letters. The doctor who visited Heidi and the grandfather, encourages Clara to travel and to visit a friend. Meanwhile, Heidi teaches Peter to read.
Clara arrives next year, and gives Heidi a wonderful summer. From goat's milk and fresh mountain air, it feels better, but the Peter out of jealousy throws her empty wheelchair off the mountain. But Heidi is trying to catch up with the stroller and falls behind her in the open. Thankfully, her grandfather and Peter saved her .Clara, frightened for her friend rising. And all saw it begin to teach her to walk without a wheelchair, and she manages. The grandmother and the father overjoyed when I see Clara walking.
Rich Clara's family promises to give Heidi and shelter to provide for her, if for any reason your grandfather will not do it.
