Put the following into
indirect speech.
1. I said to her that I had something
to show her.
2. She said that nothing grew in
her garden because it never got any sun.
3. He said to his mother he was going away the next day.
4. Rupert said he had been in
London for a month but so far he hadn't had time to visit the
Tower.
5. I remaarked that it wasn't so foggy that day as it had been yesterday.
6. The BBC announcer said the new underpass was being officially opened the day after the next day.
7. My aunt said they had moved into their new flat and they didn't like it nearly
so much as their last one.
