Robinson Crusoe, a young Englishman, ran away from home. His adventures began. After a shipwreck, Robinson found himself alone on a desert island. He built himself a house, learned how to fish and to grow plants.He did not see any people for 15 years. One day, he met a young man. Crusoe named him Friday, because he found him on that day of the week. For several years the two lived happily. A boat with pirates came to the island. Crusoe saved the captain of the ship and returned with him to England.
