Yellowstone National Park is the largest
and the oldest park among the the national parks of the United States. It is the first national park in the world.
The park was established 1872, it is situated on the territory of three
states: Wyoming Montana
eastern Idaho.
There is one of the volcanically active place on the
Earth here. The Yellowstone volcano is
located here. It's also
called super volcano.
There are about half of all of the world’s geysers in Yellowstone
Park.
Old Faithful geyser is the most famous geyser in Yellowstone
National Park. Its eruption lasts only for several minutes, but blast of water reaches a height of 50 meters
.
Red Spouter, located in the Fountain Paint Pot, spouts
red mud. But it erupts only once a day.
Besides geysers,
erupting boiling-hot water, there
are beauties and landscapes of Rocky Mountains, variety of flora and
fauna in Yellowstone National Park.
One can see black bears, bison, deer in Hayden Valley.
The last herd of bison lives in Yellowstone park.
