M.V.Lomonosov
was born in the Kholmogory settlement near the city of Arkhangelsk. His father
was a seaman. Lomonosov started to study at the age of 19. He became the first
Russian Academician at the age of 33. He founded Moscow University in 1755. He
was a great scientist. M.Lomonosov made a lot of discoveries in different fields
of science. There is a monument to M.V.Lomonosov in Moscow.
