Future perfect is used to show that an action will happen at some point between now and a time in the future. (I'll have finished my homework by 8 o'clock)
We can also use modals (might, may, should) to talk about actions that will possibly or probably happen between now and a point in the future. (I should have finished my homework by six, so give me a ring then)
