Jim:What is a dacha?
Katya: Oh, a dacha is a piece of land, often with a small country house on it.
Usually people grow different plants, vegetables and fruit there.
Jim: Have you got a dacha?
Katya:Yes,my parents have.
Jim:did you spend your summer holidays at your dacha?
Katya:Usually I do. But it's boring to go there every year.This summer I was in a holiday camp on the Black Sea, in Sochi.
Jim:Oh, I know Sochi. It's the city of the Winter Olympic Games in 2014.
Katya:Yes, that's right.
Jim:Did you enjoy your time in Sochi?
Katya:Yes, it was hot and sunny.At the camp I Sunbather a lot, swam in the sea,and played with my new friends.Every day we had different sports competitions and played popular outdoor games.
Jim:That's great. I like to spend my summer holidays at the seaside too.
