Lake Hadjikabul is the largest lake of the Azerbaijan (after the Caspian Sea)
Large lakes are also Lake Boyukshor, Lake Sarysu and Lake Goygol.
10 More than half of the territory of the country is covered by mountains and hills. The highest mountains are the Caucasus mountains (mount Bazarduzu- 4,466m, and Shachdag - 4,243m) Alazan Valley is the largest valley of the country. It is situated in two countries: Azerbaijan and in Georgia.
