Sport contains a lot of morality. The athlete always competes with other contestants, with nature or with his character. The victory or overcoming of these obstacles is interpreted as the triumph of good over evil, better over mediocre, dignity over defect. This is a confirmation of the principles of ordinary morality: efforts are rewarded, decisiveness leads to achievement, quality is above all, justice triumphs.
