Nowadays, social media interaction is very important for many teenagers and many adults scold them for it. There is many reasons for this kind of situation.
At first, in my opinion, social interaction is important for teens as it is. They chat with friends a lot during school and during their free time. Many teenagers think that their fellows understand them better than adults. And children have a lot in common between each other.
Secondly, I think that social media gives people an opportunity to communicate more fastly and more easily. Also it is cheaper than writing letters. You can chat with people all around the globe and you do not have to wait for months for an answer! Although our modern times are technological, these online ways of interacting are not likely to replace the constant need for connection with each other.
Lastly, social media is a good thing to share information in general! Teenagers can help each other at studying subjects, such as Linguistics, Mathematics and so on, and talk about popular topics or things that are going on now. Many people think that social media helps a lot at learning things.
All things considered, I agree with the topic. I believe that social media interaction really is important for modern teenagers. Especially it is important at studying and socializing. In my opinion, there is no reason for parents to block social media so they do not have any access to it. Social media should not be forbidden to anyone, especially for teenagers.
