In my country a typical breakfast is a pair of sandwiches with cheese or sausage. Our sandwiches differ from British or American sandwiches a lot – it is usually a slice of bread, often some butter and a slice or two of cheese or sausage. And we always have a mug of tea or coffee.
If people have time, they cook eggs, porridge, pancakes or cheese dumplings, called “syrniki”. My family has one of these every day.
Lunch is the main meal of the day in my country. Typically we have soup, main course and some drink. Depending on the season it can be either some cold soup in summer or one of the traditional hot soups. Typical main dish is a combination of meat (or fish or chicken) and potatoes or grains or vegetables.
