In my opinion small town isn't so boring. I live in the small town too. You can play different sports. For example, you can play big tennis. It's my favourite game. You need only and balls. Another cool game is volleyball, but here you need special net and ball. It's interesting too.
Another thing is to take photos. I'm sure, there are good places to take photo. For example, you can take photo in the field.
So, don't be sad. There are a lot of variety to do.
