In 1654 his father died and Spinoza headed the family business. Spinoza was greatly influenced by his mentor, Van den Anden TB
1656 Spinoza was subjected to "great excommunication" for free-thinking. Fleeing persecution, he lived in the village.

He had a great influence on the development of atheism and materialism.
In 1664, he published The Foundations of Descartes' Philosophy in The Hague along with Metaphysical Reflections.
Publishes anonymously in Amsterdam "Teologo-political treatise" parallel
he writes "Hebrew Grammar".
In May 1670, Spinoza moved to The Hague.
And it remains until his death.
In 1675 he ends the "Ethics"
Spinoza died on Sunday, February 21, 1677, from tuberculosis from which he suffered for 20 years
