In 1960, a system called 'Smell-O-Vision' introducent smells into cinemas for the film Scent of Mystery. Audiences could smell thirty different scents during the film, but unfortunately the machines were noisy, so some people could't hear the film. There were also problems with the first 3D films because people couldn't were the special glasses for long-they left sick.
These days we are able to enjoy 3D films without any problems and it's possible that in the cinemas of the future we could feel the same sensations as the characters. Scientists say they will be able toconnect the audience to computer and simulate emotions in heir brains.
