Last summer I had a trip to Cambridge, a university city located in England. It was unforgettable!
This city has a long history and I got immersed into it thanks to magnificent gothic architecture. I have visited Cambridge's main traditional theatre called the Arts Theatre. In the city there are several notable museums run by the University of Cambridge Museums and I had a chance to visit one of them. It was The Fitzwilliam Museum, the largest museum of the city. The museum had been founded in 1848. I really enjoyed the collections of coins, paintings and manuscripts it exhibited.
The weather was surprisingly nice. It was sunny and warm. I expected a rainy weather so took a lot of umbrellas and raincoats that I didn't use.
I have gone to many restaurants in Cambridge. To my surprise there were a lot of Chinese and Japanese ones but I have always preferred to go to European restaurants. I really love the British Breakfast so I took it a lot of times. It consists of beans in tomato sauce, scrambled egg, a piece of bacon and tea. Sometimes they add mushrooms into it.
I liked everything in my trip. The most exciting was finding different places. I had to use my speaking skills to navigate there! People always were very kind and friendly. I have even found a new friend and now we chat in facebook a lot.
