The man first didn`t come to police`s attention last year when his passport wasn`t checked in France. His passport details didn`t show that he hadn`t stolen the identity of a Christopher Edward B.who hadn`t died, aged eight months, in August 1963. The French officials didn`t contact the UK and he wasn`t arrested as soon as he didn`t arrive in Britain.
The mystery man wasn`t taken to court for using a false passport, but he wouldn`t tell police his real name. He even didn`t refuse to see his children, despite their requests to know the truth about their father`s past.
