In the modern world, a huge number of problems that face not one person, but humanity as a whole. One of these problems is cutting down trees. The increase in population and the rapid development of technology are ruining nature. Thousands of years ago, most of the surface of the earth was covered with forests. People for many years used wood for different purposes. First to heat and build houses, then to build bulky buildings and ships, to get paper and more. In general, our planet is now suffering from deforestation, cutting down trees has become a real environmental problem. Although the trees can be re-planted, the cutting rate is too high, and the trees simply do not have time to grow again. It takes many years for the tree to become large. Scientists are sounding the alarm: the territories left without trees become deserts, as the upper layer of the earth is washed away by precipitation, numerous species of animals, whole ecosystems die.
Trees are the lungs of our planet, therefore it is necessary to treat them with care. It is very important to reduce the damage from tree felling all over the planet. For this, environmentalists propose a number of measures: increase the area for planting new forests, prevent forest fires, fight poachers and unscrupulous entrepreneurs, expand and create new reserves. But what can an ordinary person do? First, plant new trees and use paper meaningfully. The beauty of nature is our wealth, and our duty is to preserve it for future generations.
