You asked me to tell you about our trip in the previous letter, so I'm writing this.
Last week my parents and I went on a family trip. We were heading to a mountain on foot, so it was taking a lot of time to get there. By the time we were finally able to do it, it was starting to get dark, and we set up our tent.
Before going to sleep we spent some time looking at the stars above. It was so refreshing to get out in the woods again that I immediately fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.
In the morning we were packing everything, and I was bored, so I looked at the trees around us and noticed a squirrel. It was jumping from one branch to another.
After packing our bags we continued walking, and reached the mountain by noon, as planned. There we made a campfire, and barbequed pork. When we finished eating, we packed everything again and started walking back home. We got back a day later. I loved the trip and look forward to going to trips like that again in the future!
