How to Stay Healthy
Life today is very stressful. If you go to school, you have the stress of exams and getting good grades. If you go to work, you have the stress of too much work, unpleasant colleagues or very long hours. Because of our way of life today, many people complain of feeling unwell. They feel tired all the time or they have headaches or backache.
So what can we do to stay healthy? If you know you are feeling stressed or not very well, there are many things you can do to help yourself feel better.
First of all, you should try to take regular exercise – go swimming or jogging at least three times a week. You should have a balanced diet – eat lots of fresh fruit and vegetables and cut down on sugar and processed foods. Finally, you should try to sleep between seven and eight hours a night and you should have a relaxing bath before going to bed.
Secondly, how often do you go to the doctor? Does your doctor just give you a prescription and send you away, or does he really listen to you and try to understand what is wrong?
Finally, remember your health is very important. It is only when we do not feel well that we realize this, so make sure you look after yourself and keep fit!
