I personally don't like theatres, but sometimes I have to accompany my relative or friend, who are avid theatre-goers. About a year ago I went to see a popular romance play named "Too much married taxi driver". It was in the repertoire of the local Russian Drama Theatre.
Surprisingly, the house was full despite the terrible weather and workday.
The plot of the story is twisty and intriguing. A taxi driver who was, as he says, happily married, in the course of the story turns out to be the husband of several women whom he loved to bits. His problem is his special attachment to each of the women. He is desperate to make a choice and remain happy. Ultimately, after numerous dramatic scandals, only his official wife stays by his side. The driver is crashed but thankful. His wife is heart-broken but loving.
I can't say I enjoyed the plot, but the acting was quite convincing. The scenery was well-thought and nicely-made. The thing I really loathed was the too loud music during the performance. It made me feel uncomfortable and willing to leave the noisy place.
