Russia is rich in seas, lakes, rivers and forests. Lake Baikal in Siberia is famous because it is the deepest lake in the world and it has very clear fresh water. Some of our rivers are very long and powerful. 4. There are a lot of important cities on the territory of Russia. Tourists from abroad come to visit Moscow, the capital of the country. Visitors come to do St Petersburg, famous for its beauty. In Russia there are thousands of cities and towns, large and small, old and new and every city or town is interesting in its way.
