A TRAVELLER'S TALE
It (happen)1 _happened_ many years ago. I was in India. I was hunting there. Once i spent the whole day in the jungle. It had got completely dark when i(decide)2_decided_ to return to my camp. I was walking along a narrow path. Strange sounds 3(hear)_were heard_ everywhere. On my right there was a river and on my left there was a thick tropical forest.

I knew that if i started to run the the tiger would catch me easily. As i could swim well i 6(make up)_made up_ my mind to escape that way. I looked at the river on my right. There in the river, was a huge crocodile. It 7(wait)_was waiting_ for me with open jaws.
I fainted. A moment later i jumped to my feet again. What do you think i saw? The tiger 8(be)_was_ in the jaws of the crocodile.
