Банкомат это машина, через которую клиенты могут снимать деньги со своих банковских счетов, используя пластиковые карты. Они могут сделать это в любом отделении банка. С кредитной картой, клиенты также получают PIN-код (персональный идентификационный номер). Это число (т.е. пин-код) держится в секрете даже от сотрудников банка. При использовании банкомата, клиенты вставляют карту и вводят ПИН код. Следуя четким инструкциям, которые появляются на экране монитора, они могут снять наличные до определенного лимита, проверить баланс своего счета или положить деньги на счет.
Когда вы покупаете что-то, вы показываете вашу кредитную карту продавцу. Она или он фиксирует реквизиты Вашей карты: номер, лимит кредита и срок годности карты. Каждый месяц компания, которая выдала кредитную карту, посылает владельцу карточки счет, в котором перечислены операции, совершенные за месяц и пени (проценты).
