It was the day of my party, a day I would never forget. I had so much excitement I could hardly contain it. Yet still, there were things to be done. The moonwalk we had requested had arrived and I watched it slowly inflate. But, I was called in the house to help with food, decorations, and chairs. Now, the guests were to arrive.

Once the guests arrived, we played lots of games in the basement and received “points” for winning towards “prizes” which were our goody-bags. I liked it a lot because we got to choose what prize we wanted. At the time, it seemed like the best thing in the world!! But, no, there was more! While some were playing games others were chatting upstairs and some were on our moonwalk.

That seemed like the day could not get any better, but presents were still to come.I of course, enjoyed the gifts a lot! Though I did not want to say good-bye, it was time. As I said goodbye I was disappointed but I still remember that day as the best birthday ever!

This party was special in many ways. That anxious and excited feeling that I had before the party has also stayed with me to now. I will always remember how much fun I had and the excitement I had felt.
