Vladimir Klichko went in for boxing at the age of fourteen.
His progress was rapid. In 1993, the young man won the gold medal at the European Championships in Boxing among juniors in the heavy weight category.
Every year he took part in different competitions and almost always took the first place. Vladimir Klichko participated in many competitions around the world:
in Turkey, in Italy, in Germany, in Denmark. He defeated other sportsmen and gained the victory.
