Hemingway, Ernest Miller
was born on 1899 in Chicago. He grew up in a family of a doctor. His
literary talent manifested itself in school years.
During the First World war Ernest served as an
ambulance driver and was wounded on the Austro-Italian front. After the war,
devoted himself entirely to literature. He traveled much, was fond of mountain
skiing, hunting, fishing.
After the war, Hemingway went to Cuba, and
resumed his creative activity. He continued to travel and in 1953 in Africa
because he was involved in a serious crash.He became the winner of the Pulitzer
and Nobel prize for literature. He was married four times.
After coming to power in Cuba Fidel Castro
Ernest returned to the United States, Idaho.Last years of his life he suffered
from severe depression, and later he had a serious disease of the liver.
On 2 July 1961 Ernest committed suicide.
Hemingway was buried in Cuba, where he lived the last years, then his house was
converted into a Museum.
