English has become a world
language because millions of people in the world speak it.
People who speak English have
better job opportunities because they can work in many countries and
international corporations. We use dictionaries to learn a foreign language
because we can find the translation of any word in them. It’s important to talk
to native speakers whose language we are learning because it helps to improve
our pronunciation and broadens our vocabulary. Many people in Russia are
learning English now because they want to communicate with people of many
countries through the Internet and when they go abroad. Learning foreign
languages can be fun because we can learn it through songs, poems, jokes and
different games. It is not possible to have only amusing lessons at school
because we must study grammar, learn a lot of words, read texts, have tests and
it is not an amusement, it’s hard work.
