Habitat for rabbits include meadows, forests, grasslands, deserts and wetlands [9]. Rabbits live in groups, and the best-known species, the European rabbit, lives in underground burrows, often combined into a larger system.
More than half of the world population of rabbits lives in North America [9]. Rabbits also primordially inherent to South-Western Europe, Southeast Asia, Sumatra, some Islands of Japan; and some parts of Africa and South America. Rabbits are found in most parts of Eurasia, where the different species of birds.
In South America rabbits appeared in the great inter-American exchange. In most parts of the continent there is only one kind of rabbit - Tapety (they are Brazilian, they are the same Forest rabbits) . Most of the southern cone does not contain rabbits.
