We all need friends. They play an important role in our lives. But often we don’t realy clearly understand how friendship is formed. Every day we meet hundereds of people. But we get on well with some of them and make friends with only a few. Some of us have many friends, but others don’t have, because there are people who easy to get on with, and people who are difficult to trust anybody.I think that a real friend is a person whom you can trust, respect. He never lets you down. I agree with the proverb: «A friend in need is a friend indeed«. The friendship is based oncommon views, judgements, events, interests and ambitions.I have a very wide circle of friends. But only one of them is really dear to me. My best friend is Ann. We have known each other for 10 years. Ann is a pretty girl, rather tall and slim. She is energetic, does a lot of sport, especially swimming. We are both fond ofpainting and dancing. Why is she my best friend? Because I like her attitude to other people. She never says badly about others. She always tries to find something more positive than negative in every person. Of course, we quarrel sometimes, but don’t stay angry witheach other for more than one day. She tends to act a little impulsively, sometimes loses her self-control. But in general other peolpe also think that she is charming, frank, sociable and honest. I can add Ann is reliable. I can trust her. Surely she is not an angel and has her drawbacks.I am proud of having such a friend. I will try to keep up our friendship as long as I can. I think she will help me when I have problems or troubles. It is easier to lose a good friend than to find. In conclusion I’d like to say the proverb. I complettely agree with it: «A man is judged by his foes as well by his friends».
